Job Description:
An investment product development specialist must work across multiple disciplines, including quantitative modelling, portfolio construction, client documentation, financial advice, tax, regulatory understanding and user experience design.
Job Requirements:
- Governance and management of existing investment products, including automated advice systems, fund performance and related aspects.
- Engaging with Business Analyst and IT with regards to the development and delivery of the investment product
- Designing requirements for the Management Information Systems, where needed.
Qualification & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in investment product development
- A relevant financial degree (including actuarial, maths, stats, finance, economics or investments)
- A postgraduate qualification in finance would be preferable (CFA, Masters in Finance, FASSA, MBA)
- RE 5 would be advantageous but not a requirement
