Santam Bellville Vacancies – JDE CNC Administrator

Job Description:

Guided by the CNC Manager and a prioritised backlog, this role will be responsible for assisting and managing risk and impact in the JDEdwards (JDE) environments. This role will also assist with the configuration and security requirements related to JDE related projects and new JDE users.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promotion and testing of objects in upgraded ERP
• The management of Data Sources and object configuration mappings
• Identify security conflicts and resolve them
• Facilitate requirements gathering workshops with the business
• Post installation, log analysis and surface testing
• Server Manager Agent installations and configurations
• Server Manager installation and configuration
• Surface testing of upgraded instance
• Create and run installation plan
• Synchronizing test and production roles
• The Management of Menu/Task View activities related to Creation, Deletion and filtering
• Engage with role-players within our implementation of Scrum @ Scale

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work and focus on multiple initiatives at same time
• Ability to function within a team and communicate effectively with all stakeholders (Business departments and Development Teams)
• Ability to be able to research and Self learn when required.
• Ability to balance stakeholders effectively
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Have an attention to detail, accurracy and quality
• Ability to research and resolve any JDE related issues and have strong analytical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take control of situations and drive it without the need to be micro-managed

Qualification & Experience:

• Have SQL query knowledge (iSeries SQL preferred, but not essential)
• Experience in the use of Jira and Confluence will be beneficial
• Knowledge of and experience in JDE Oracle related software installs
• Experience in agile framework ways of work desired, but inhouse training can be provided through Learning platform.
• Relevant Tertiary IT qualification or qualification through experience
• IT National Diploma – sufficient
• At least 2 years of Functional experience in performing JDEdwards CNC administration duties
