Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to support the global copper operations by managing teams across the Purchase to Pay and Vendor Master-data processes as a key enabling function across Glencore Copper – Africa and APAC Regions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Processes are efficient and reviewed regularly to meet fit-for-purpose operating practices
• Leads in communicating the resolution to the relevant responsible team to correct root causes
• Ensures that the End-to-End Purchase to Pay process and Vendor Master-Data Management is supported by:
• Managing teams to provide Transactional services regionally
• Problem-solving for process, system and other technical issues that arise across the Vendor Master-Data and Purchase to Pay Function
• Must be aware of all risks associated with the Transactional Services Function and must ensure that adequate controls are built in daily processes to reduce the likelihood and impact of those risks materialising
• Leads in formulating resolution to correct root causes of process deficiencies
• Adequate Change Management precedes any changes to process and that all impacted parties are aware, are communicated with and have input into the change
• Well-governed processes
• Manual Processes and SAP are complementary to each other

Qualification & Experience:

• Advantageous to demonstrate post qualification studies or soft skills development
• Relevant Degree in Accounting/ Business Science/ Commercial/ Finance
