Job Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the planning and implementation of the performance management process that impacts high labor productivity
- Ensures Operation complies with all obligations / legislation / regulation in so far as all Labor laws are concerned
- Contributes towards the operations performance in line with the set and revised business plans
- Provides independent and quality HR service & support; and influence to managers and employees in helping to resolve any people related enquiries
- Apply Sustainability principles through attraction, development, and retention of the required skills
- Apply Safety and Health principles as aligned with Anglo’s values in all interactions
- Oversee HR requests integration/prioritization and HR services facilitation
- Leads and manages the performance of own team in order to achieve objectives
- Actively foster and support the development of a high-performance working culture within a unionized environment
- Provides ER advice and supports to employees / managers in progressing disciplinary and grievance matters; whereby a healthy working environment is realized
- Manage leadership engagement and HR function programs
- Ensures continuous and relevant / appropriate HR services in the operation at all times
- Manages the resources and outputs of the function in the operation including labor, budgets, and wellness
Qualification & Experience:
- NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource management or Employee Relations
- Experience in a Mining or processing environment
- Minimum of 4 years in Middle Management role
- Additional qualification in Labor Law will be advantageous
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR Management
